Plan on building in the spring, did adair seal the texture on the ceiling, or do you need to seal & paint the ceiling?

So painting is an item on the “Owner-Do” List, but texturing gets done by the drywall guys. Painting the ceiling was an option….the texturing was sealed and could have been left as is.
