Just a quick short note about a HUGE amount of progress….but the subject is very dry. That’s right, the dry wall is up, and the tape and putty are drying. The house is starting to really feel “homey”, and very cozy. By the end of the week, the sanding, second application of putty, sanding, and drying should be complete….next step, I believe will be painting.
Since sheetrock isn’t a very exciting medium (except maybe to those of us anxiously waiting to move out of our trailer into our home), I won’t bore you with a bunch of pictures….for now.

Oh, but it is so fun to see actual walls instead of studs! 🙂 So excited for you that it’s moving so fast for you!

Hi Barb,
We’re not sure about the open house yet….the idea of getting the house cleaned for free after construction is VERY tempting!!! I think it depends on the weather, I don’t really want a lot of feet walking through the house if it is wet, snowy, or muddy out. How about you?
