Hi Ellen!
No, not about me, but my daughter was diagnosed 4 years ago when she was 18. Her type is ANCA+ Associated Microscopic Polyangiitis (MPA+). It’s been a long road, scary at times and better other times, a roller coaster of ups & downs. It is a difficult disease with no known cause, and no cure. Treatments are very harsh including chemotherapy, immunosuppressants, steroids, and other meds. MPA+ is a rare disease with an incidence rate of 1 per 100,000.
